 Powtoon is Web-based animation software that allows users to create animated presentations by manipulating pre-created objects, imported images, provided music and user-created voice-overs.

Powtoon uses a software development kit (SDK )  as engine to generate an XML file that can be played in the Powtoon online viewer, exported to YouTube or downloaded as an MP4 file.

Powtoon is also available on the Google Chrome Store and has an application on Edmodo.comEdmodo enhances Powtoon with its collaboration and monitoring tools.

  The huge range of nowadays net possibilities allows to access to different interactive resources which help education become more enjoyable for students community.

We can use powtoon for teaching trough interactive slides which have a range of characteristics which help the student to give attention and concentrate over contains of those slides.

This tool, offered to us by LinkedIn, was born as an alternative to the classic Microsoft Power Point that is becoming obsolete. This online tool is oriented to different areas with the aim of sharing slides in a quick and easy way.

In addition, it allows us to upload presentations in Power Point, Open Office or presentations in PDF format. If we have presentations already made we can upload them to this network and spread our content through the Internet. An easy and effective way to share content.
